Canada has legalised the use and trade of recreational marijuana, and will also issue pardons for people convicted of possessing a maximum of 30g.
The country legalised the use of marijuana for medical purposes back in 2001, and this latest move is in line with the Government’s plans to adjust to society’s wishes in relation to the drug, and to bring some regulatory framework into its trade.
Over 100 shops selling marijuana will soon open across Canada.
