Six people have miraculously been found alive under the avalanche at Hotel Rigopiano which hit on Wednesday.
The hotel location on a mountain in the Abruzzo region was hit by the avalanche following a series of earthquakes.
Up to 30 people are confirmed missing, with two bodies found.
Diggers have been working since Wednesday to locate the missing people amid the carnage of broken trees, blocked roads, rocks and debris.
There are fears of further avalanches in the region.
