Weather experts have predicted that Winter 2017 could be the harshest in decades, prompting bookies to slash the odds of snowfall at Dublin Airport from 4/5 to 1/3.
The odds of snow falling on Dublin Airport on Christmas Day now stand at 5/1, down from 7/1 last week.
At the same time, some say that this winter might just bring the coldest temperatures in recorded history.
All bets are off as to a definite but judging by this weekend’s weather – it’s very very likely.
