The town of Drogheda is in shock today as they’re one of the ambulance service was stolen and horrifically crashed into a bus. Calls are already coming from all quarters for the two thieves to be made an example of and given a very heavy mandatory sentence.
The government unfortunately will probably dismiss this issue and the two criminals will get a wrap on the knuckles and get off lightly because they “had a tough upbringing” – what utter rubbish, we need to get rid of these types of people in society.
The two stole an ambulance from Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda at 1pm. They drove at high speed to the Shamrock Villas area of the town where the crashed head-on into a bus.
The driver of the bus was the only occupant of the bus. Ironically, an ambulance was rushed to the scene. It’s time the government set stronger punishment for this type of outrageous behaviour.
How many decent people might need that ambulance this afternoon?
