The former Top Gear and current The Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson has taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support and best wishes after he was admitted to hospital in Spain this week.
In a brief post on the social media website, Clarkson thanked fans for their good wishes and said he would be taking an indefinite break after he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia in Majorca on Friday.
The presenter, who is renowned for his motoring expertise, posted a photo showing himself connected up to a tube and with hospital tags on his arm with the caption which reads as follows: “Not the sort of bangles I usually choose on holiday”.
Meanwhile in a brief statement a spokesperson for The Grand Tour said: “Jeremey Clarkson has been admitted to hospital during a family holiday in Spain and is being treated for pneumonia”.
