The village of Crosshaven in Co Cork has plenty of reasons to be cheerful this morning after one of their residents was revealed as the lucky winner of Saturday’s Lotto jackpot worth an €5.6m.
In announcement made over the weekend, National Lottery chiefs have revealed that the winning ticket was purchased at Lynch’s Centra store in the village.
Although the winner has yet to come forward, the village is said to be in good spirits after one of their own pocketed the tidy sum.
The winning numbers were: 2, 17, 24, 25, 35, 40 with the bonus number being 36.
