Justice is served: Con-woman gets 20 months in jail for false rape accusation




A woman who prayed on men online with the aim of stealing from them and then falsely accusing them of rape has been jailed for 20 months.

The Daily Mail UK reports that con-woman, Natalie Rivers (35) duped a man (58) on the dating website ‘Plenty of Fish’ then went to his home and stole over £3,000.

When the man reported the theft and she was arrested she claimed the man was paying her hush money after he raped her.

The man was questioned by police and was under investigation for four months, stating he suffered depression and became physically ill after the false rape accusation.

Rivers has previous convictions for stealing cheques and impersonating a police officer her most recent sentence will be served on top of the time she has been imprisoned for her other offences.
