Music Icon Kanye West has once again provoked outrage and ire from leftists after he reiterated his support for US President Donald Trump.
The free-thinking rapper tweeted:
“One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black”
And
“Blacks are 90% Democrats That sounds like control to me ”
West has met with President Trump on numerous occasions and is frequently seen sporting his red “Make America Great Again” hat which he says he will be wearing at all future performances.
He has been urged to remove the hat in the past and his performance with it on, on Saturday Night Live, known for being unapologetically anti-Trump, went unaired.
For his part President Trump has enacted legislation to bring about prison and incarceration reform, something long demanded by representatives of the black community and unemployment amongst African-Americans has reached a record low under President Trump’s tenure.
