Keep the brolley handy – Met Eireann say the country will see wetter conditions during the remainder of this week




If you are planning to go out and about this week it might be best to take the brolley with you whilst your on your travels as Met Eireann has said the country will experience a mixed bag of weather from Tuesday onwards.

The national forecaster has said the rest of the week will see most places experiencing wet spells with heavy rainfall expected from Tuesday until Friday.

Although the weekend will be much brighter forecasters say the vast majority of the country will see heavy showers at some point during the weekend with the south of the country set to experience the worst of the weather.

It is expected the wet weather will move further north later in the week just before they country will see more seasonal weather this coming weekend.

Met Eireann say although it will be wet and overcast throughout tempatures across the country are expected to remain in the high teens ranging from 16-19C.
