The Labour party has been left with just 6 TDs in the Dáil, after its humiliating defeat in last Friday’s General Election.
One Labour TD, Willie Penrose, is currently embroiled in a re-count in the Longford-Westmeath constituency.
If Penrose loses the count, Labour will be one TD short, thus becoming a silent presence in the 32nd Dáil.
