Search operations undertaken around Blackrock Island in Co Mayo over the weekend have failed to locate the two missing rescue 116 Coast Guard crew members.

The two rescue members Ciarán Smith and Paul Ormsby have not been found since their helicopter crashed off Blackrock Island on the 14th March.

In yet another attempt to locate the two men rescue teams joined together yesterday to searched over 25 square kilometres around the crash site, however their brave efforts have once again proved to be unsuccessful.

The largest Search operation which consisted of over 160 drivers focused on a number of areas in the mapped out Search area in attempt to find the two men who went down during a routine rescue mission.
