Latest poll reveals that Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin is the most popular leader in the country

According to a new opinion poll published by the Sunday Times Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin is still the most popular party leader in the country.

Mr Martin the Fianna Fail leader has the support 46% of the Irish public. The poll also showed that the Government had a satisfaction rate of 26% despite only being in office for just over 6 weeks. The poll also showed that Sinn Féin’s support increased to 17%, whilst the Labour party still only have a support rating of 5%.

However there was some good news for the party as new leader Brendan Howlin is the second most popular leader in the country at 40%. Meanwhile Taoiseach Enda Kenny remains unchanged in his satisfaction rating at 26%, whilst Sinn Féin’s Gerry Adams is at 31% marking a slight increase.

The poll also showed the Green Party leader Eamon Ryan remains unchanged, at 37%.
