Leaving Certificate students could soon see a change to the oral examinations timetable in the near future, it has been revealed.
The new changes which will see the examinations take place over the Easter break, come after The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals submitted the idea in an effort to combat the current state examiner shortage.
Although the new changes are not expected to be introduced this year, students across the country could be scheduled to take the exam during their Easter break, rather than the days following the break.
