Legendary actor and comedian Bill Murray is not known for his forays into politics, famously stating that he has “no dog in this race” when asked if he would support Barack Obama’s run for a second term as president.
However, in an interview to U.S news TV station CNBC the world renowned funny man has said that comedy is under threat from the ultra-liberal PC lobby in the U.S, which is destroying the careers of writers and comedians for no good reason.
Murray went on to say that ‘democrats in the U.S are dividing people based on their groups’-Hispanic or LGBT etc.
This has been echoed by several other comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld who has ruled out ever setting food on a college campus again for fear of offending the perpetually offended.
