On last night’s Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE, young actress Jenny Cox gave a great interview about being the first person with Down Syndrome to act in Dancing at Lughnasa.
The talented actress has been in a number of plays and films but her new role in the famous story was always her dream.
Jenny described the fact that people with Down Syndrome are very important to society and have just as many traits, talents and skills to offer as everyone else.
She went on to say that she has plans for many more plays, dramas and films in the future and this is just the beginning.
