In a highly entertaining interview on last night’s Late Late Show, “Super Vet” Noel Fitzpatrick spoke about how his little childhood dog named Pirate showed him what true compassion and love really is.
In a touching segment, the Laois man told how he used to get bullied in school but when he went home, his little dog would be there to comfort him with a reassuring hug.
It really was a lovely story and one which obviously shows why Fitzpatrick is so loved in both Ireland and the UK.
He also told about how his imagination as a child led to the invention of “Super Vet” who could fix any ailments an animal may have, something that Noel himself has managed to do so many times in his subsequent life.
