A legendary figure in the heavy metal world, and music in general, Lemmy Kilmister has sadly lost his life to an aggressive form of cancer.

He was one of the founding members of British metal band Motorhead, and remained its only constant member since the band’s arrival on stage back in 1975.

Motorhead, best known for its single “Ace of Spades” would go on to achieve great recognition worldwide, releasing 23 albums throughout its history.

The band was scheduled to tour the UK and France early in 2016.
