Leo Varadkar has come out hard against nurses claiming that is very unhappy, distressed and even saddened by the fact that nurses are standing up for themselves and are going to go on strike on a weekday.
It’s understood that Varadkar is saddened at the fact that nurses and midwives will hold a strike on Wednesday the 30th of January.
Varadkar would prefer if they went on strike during the weekend when less staff is needed
Nurses and midwives have threatened further days of action planned possibly on February 13th and 14th if their issues are not addressed.
