A male driver has plowed into a group of people standing near the Kiepenkrel statue in the German city of Munster.
Horrifically, multiple people have been killed while at least 12 others have been seriously injured.
It is believed the man was driving a small truck, mounted the footpath and drove straight through a group of people who were sitting in the area.
Police have advised the public to avoid the area as the situation is ongoing.
Authorities have not officially called it terrorism but local media is now reporting the incident to be a “likely terrorist attack”.
