London student housing advisor praised after she graciously offers temporary housing to 21 families who were victims of the Grenfell Tower block fire




A woman in London has been praised for her goodwill and generosity in the past few days after she offered to provide housing to 21 families who have been left homeless by the recent Grenfell Tower block fire that claimed the lives of 17 residents.

The woman who has been lauded for her efforts on social media, Laura-Jayne Cannel came to the rescue to many of those desperateto find shelter by offering the available accommodation on social media on Thursday​.

Posting on Twitter Ms Cannel a student housing adviser wrote the following message: “I have 21 studio flats with bathrooms and kitchens available to those that need them. PM me #GrenfellTower PLEASE SHARE.”

Although many London resident were confused as to how she had so many available flats, the good Samaritan cleared up any misunderstanding by stating she works for student housing provider.

Since it has been uploaded, the tweet has been shared more than 3,000 times and it has garnered widespread praise amongst the public with many commending Laura-Jayne for her goodwill and kind heartedness.
