It is 2015 and as we all know online shopping is somewhat the norm, with everybody rushing to well known websites in the hope of finding that specific item wether it be new or used at a bargain price.
However we also come across the down right bizarre when shopping online, seeing items that are out dated or products that no one hardly uses anymore, but one man from Co Sligo has surely taken the top spot for the funniest advert of the year, after he posted a rather unusual item for sale on the country’s biggest advertising website Done Deal. The man who has not been identified has placed an unusual advert on the site in which he is bizarrely charging €200 for a used white sock (yes you read that correctly) the Sligo native also goes on to give a detailed description of the item and as to why he is charging such a ludicrous amount for it.
The hilarious advert which was posted over a day ago has yet to receive any enquiries, and states the following description: I have jacked in my job so need a few pound for traveling.
This Lovely top quality white sock will brighten up your day belonging to a great footballer who nearly made it to the championship final but was robbed in the quarters, its well worn so needs a little work. Can be signed!!!
Please note this is not a pair. Lost the the other one over the weekend. Shame really how it was treated just tossed aside after a few drinks.
Genuine reason for sale. I’m going traveling to Asia so won’t have any use for it there.
