David Walsh from Ballinaslow, County Galway has successfully gained access to his share of a lotto win against his stepmother, Mary Walsh.
Walsh claimed that he was was entitled to more than €500,000 from a €3.3m jackpot win his stepmother received in January 2011.
After a six-day court case, Mr Justice Richard Humphreys said he was siding with David Walsh and demanded Mary Walsh pay her stepson €564,000 with costs.
