Although the Irish ticket holder who will be relatively pleased this morning after picking up the favourable sum, it could have been a whole lot better for the winner as they just fell short of collecting the top prize of €28.5m.
The latest millionaire who will have no complaints just missed out on the top prize after he failed to match the other five numbers and one lucky star.
The numbers drawn in Friday’s main draw were 9, 24, 42, 47, 49 and the lucky stars were 1 and 5.
It is not yet known where the latest winning ticket was bought.
