Jamie Kelly, a Galway native was on a flight last week returning home to the Emerald Isle from Barcelona when he got seated next to Canadian beauty Katie Moreau.
Katie and Jamie immediately struck up a great chat and they “really hit off” according to Jamie. They talked the entire flight and when they arrived in Dublin they proceeded to the baggage area together. Unfortunately Katie had to go through a different customs area and they got separated.
Only knowing Katie’s first name and the fact she was Canadian, Jamie took action! He took to Twitter and Facebook to spread the word in the hope of finding his new love interest.
A major campaign went underway and the hashtag #findkatie made it right the way up to Canadian news tv. Within a matter of days, Katie’s sister saw the campaign on television and contacted her sister. The two were reunited on Today FM with Ray this morning.
