Anthony Joshua has once again won tonight by defeating Carlos Takam to retain his retain his IBF and WBA World crown.
Joshua who won with a technical knockout in the 10th round didn’t have it all his own way however as a brave Takam more than matched him at every step.
Takam who was clearly struggling with a cut above the right eye can feel hard done by as a series of blows in the 10th prompted the referee to stop the fight despite his protests.
However Takam who should leave with his held high landed a few body blows that put the reigning champ under immense pressure in the latter stages of the 7th.
Joshua who was clearly gassed as the fight went on just had enough in the tank to see off his determined opponent.
