Who enjoys paying the M50 toll? No one, but one may took it to the extreme.
Gardai confirmed they arrested a man who climbed the gantry and cut the cables attached to the cameras and sensory equipment over the northbound lane at 9.30pm last night.

Emergency services were called and they closed the M50 while gardaí talked the man down and who they then subsequently left the gantry and was then arrested.
The man is due in court today and it’s understood the man damaged the tolling system as part of a protest.
Many people on social media are lauding him for his efforts over what is being described as another immoral tax.
