A 76-year-old British man has been arrested in connection with the case of missing Madeleine McCann.
The man, named as Roderick McDonald, has been living in Malta for the last two years, and was on the run after a conviction for abusing two girls in 2012.
McDonald will also be questioned about his alleged connections to a pedophile ring linked to the abduction of a toddler in Praia de Luz in 2007, as he was believed to be living in the area at the time.
