Gardaí are continuing a major investigation this morning after two people, including a mother of six, were brutally murdered in a shooting in Dublin on Wednesday evening.
Gardaí say the woman, who was agedin her 40s, and a man aged in his 30s died after they were shot at a house in Balbutcher Drive, Ballymun.
They also say they are currently searching for two gunmen who carried out the horrific attack that also injured two other people.
Reports say the latest shooting incident in the city is gang related, although it is believed that it is not connected to an ongoing feud between the Hutch and Kinahan criminal gangs.
