Up to a dozen casualties are reported this evening resulting from a collision between a mini-bus and an SUV.
The incident happened two miles outside Farranfore, Co. Kerry, on the main Killarney to Farranfore road, at around 5.40pm.
Up to 12 people, including seven children, are reportedly involved in the accident. It is understood that most of the injuries are not life threatening.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if at all possible.
