A man (31) has died after being struck by a car on the M11 in Roscath late Saturday night.
It is reported that he was walking on the road at about 10.30pm when the incident occurred, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at Loughlinstown Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.
The area has been sealed off for forensic examination and diversions are in place on the M11 southbound between Junctions 18 (Wicklow South) and 19 (Brittas bay).
