London’s knife crime has gotten even more out of control after a man aged in his 20s was stabbed to death in the early hours of this morning.
The man who tragically died at the scene in Upper Green East near Montrose Gardens and London Road, in Mitcham, now takes the city’s death toll to 60 people.
In a statement a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said they have arrested a man aged in his 40s in connection with the stabbing which occurred at approximately 3:30am.
The latest killing has left London’s police service deeply concerned about the high number of killings in the English capital.
