A man aged in his 30s has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court charged with rape.
According to RTÉ News the man who appeared before Blanchardstown District Court was charged following an alleged sexual assault on a woman in a park in Blanchardstown on Tuesday night.
The man was remanded in custody after a bail application was denied, the man is expected to appear in court next Thursday.
