Gardaí in Co Meath have confirmed that a man has been arrested following the discovery of €80,000 worth of cannabis in Drogheda.
The man aged in his 40s, was arrested after the large quantity of cannabis was seized at a house in the Grane Rath area, which is located just outside the town.
Gardaí say the man was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Ashbourne Garda Station.
