Gardaí in Co Clare have confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has sadly died following a collision on the M18 this afternoon.
It is understood the collision which involved a car and a truck happened at approximately 1.20pm this afternoon at junction 13 on the M18 near Gort, just outside Ennis.
Gardaí say the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst the driver of the truck was uninjured in the collision.
