A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the blaze that damaged or destroyed six houses in Millfield Manor, Newbridge, yesterday.
All the residents were accounted for and nobody was injured, but most of the properties were razed or badly damaged.
The man is being held at Newbridge Garda Station.
