Gardai in Co Kildare have confirmed that a man has been killed following a shooting incident in Leixlip last evening.
According to RTE News, the man was killed after he sustained a gunshot wound to the head at the Glen Easton Estate at approximatley 9.30pm.
It is believed the shooter fled the scene in a white car.
Gardai say no arrests have been made and investigations are currently ongoing but that they believe it may well be part of a gangland feud.
