A man ploughed a car into a crowd of people in Nimes, southern France yesterday whilst screeching “Allahu Akbar”, the Express UK reports.
The 32-year-old man who was driving arrested after he drove his car into a crowd of pedestrians preparing for the town’s annual grape harvesting festival, miraculously only two people were seriously injured and there were no fatalities.
The perpetrator had attempted to flee the scene, but heroic civilians stopped him shortly before police arrived to make the arrest.
France has been the victim of numerous Muslim terrorist atrocities in recent years including the Paris attacks in November 2015 when 137 people were killed in a co-ordinated gun and bomb attack on the city.
Vehicles have also been a stable of Islamic terror in Europe. The worst such attack occurring in the French city of Nice, when a Muslim terrorist drove a truck into a crowd of families watching a fireworks display on Bastille Day killing 87 and maiming hundreds more.
