A man aged in his 40s is due to appear before Limerick District Court this morning in connection with the murder of of 24-year-old Patrick O’Connor.
According to RTÉ News, the man is set to be charged before the court this morning following discussions between the Gardaí and the Director of public prosecutions.
Mr O’Connor was the victim of stabbing incident which occurred in Fitzgerald’s pub in Thomondgate at at approximately 12am last Saturday.
The man due to appear before court this morning was arrested on Monday following an investigation by Gardai.
