Gardaí in Dublin have begun a manhunt after a cash in-transit worker was assaulted during a robbery this afternoon.
The robbery which occurred at Bluebell Luas stop at approximately 12:40pm, saw the man being assaulted before the thieves flee the scene.
It is understood the man was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment, but it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
Gardaí say the thieves made off with a cash box that contained a large quantity of cash.
