Three family members have been seriously injured following a knife attack in Vienna on Wednesday evening.
According to local media reports three people including two women and one man were injured after they received stab wounds whilst they were walking in the Leopoldstadt district, which is near Vienna’s famous Prater Park.
It is understood the victims all aged 40, 50, and 17 respectively are all part of the same family.
Police say they are currently searching for the lone assailant who carried out the brutal attack at approximatley 7.45pm on Wednesday evening.
They also say they are yet to determine a motive for the attack.
