Man’s body washes ashore in the Aran Islands

A man’s body washed ashore in the Aran Island late on Friday evening.

A member of the public made the grim discovery on Inishmaan while out walking late yesterday.

The body was transferred to University College Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
