The Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin has paid tribute to departing Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny who confirmed his resignation earlier today.
Mr Martin thanked Mr Kenny for his service and said although they have had their differences, he always appreciated “Enda’s decency, good humour and approachability.”
The Fianna Fáil leader also said he wished Mr Kenny well in the future and that he will never be forgotten in Irish politics.
