Media hysteria and threats online over smiling teen wearing Pro-Trump Make America Great Again hat

A video showing a Native American man approach a teenager attending the march for life in Washington DC and banging a drum while making “spirit chants” has provoked outrage online.

Leftists and celebrities have attacked the teenage boy in the video because he was smiling and wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ hat. Some have even called for him to attacked and have his address leaked online.

Media induced hysteria erupted online before a longer video showed the students being provoked and proving that the indigenous man, Nathan Philipps, approached the students.

The students were being harassed and insulted by a group of men who believe themselves to be the “black Israelites” which is an African-American supremacist ideology.

Philips said he walked into the group of students and began chanting to distract from the epithets being screeched by the racist black demonstrators at the teens who come from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky.

The boy at the centre of this controversy Nick Sandmann issued the following statement

“I believed that by remaining motionless and calm, I was helping to diffuse the situation. I realised everyone had cameras and that perhaps a group of adults was trying to provoke a group of teenagers into a larger conflict. I said a silent prayer that the situation would not get out of hand,”
