Dubliner, Danny O’Donoghue was travelling from London to Manchester for a concert with his Script bandmates when they witnessed a young woman crash into a pillar ona motorway intersection.
They stopped and ran over and pulled the woman out of her car once they saw smoke and flames coming from the engine.
Danny said: “You’re never going to move somebody from an accident but if there’s smoke coming from the engine then you want to get them out as quick as possible. The girl said she couldn’t feel her legs.She was so weak, so we helped her to the side of the road, sat her down, put a jacket around her, gave her a drink and waited for the ambulance.”
