Met Eireann forecasts a spell of pleasant weather for the week ahead

After a period of unsettled weather due to Storm Callum and other weather events, Ireland is set to get a bit of respite weather wise.

Met Eireann predicts that the coming week will be rather pleasant, with long sunny spells and relatively mild temperatures for the time of year.

The next few days are expected to be mostly dry, with temperatures rising to about 14C in most areas. There will some well scattered showers at times across Ulster and Connacht.

Early indications are for a rainy day on Friday next, but the forecast is uncertain.
