There will be now more information available on the weather where you are as the National Forecaster Met Eireann officially launched its new weather website and app.
The new an improved weather alert system will now give the Irish public up to date weather reports wherever they are in the country.
Although the National Forecaster did have a website that provided regular Information on certain regions around the country, Met Eireann say their new and improved website/app will give a seven day forecast along with weather alert updates and warnings.
The new website/app will now allow a user to type in their current location and they will be automatically be given a seven day forecast for that specific area.
It is thought that the revamp of the Met Eireann website and app comes as the national forecaster looks to provide accurate weather information to the public who already use similar apps for weather reports in their area.
