The national forecaster has warned of gale force winds and heavy rains arriving in Ireland just in time for the weekend.
Tomorrow, Friday, is expected to begin relatively dry, but heavy rain will become widespread towards the afternoon, with temperatures hitting 9C at best.
Saturday is forecast to be blustery, with strong winds and a lot of heavy rain overall.
Sunday will likely be the best day of the lot, with drier and brighter weather in most parts.
