Local authorities in the remote island of Reunion have confirmed that another piece of debris, thought to be part of an aircraft door, has washed ashore close where the wing part was located earlier in the week.
There has been no official confirmation yet that either piece of debris does belong to the missing plane, however. French authorities are thought to be conducting testing of the wing part to try to ascertain its origin.
Flight MH370 vanished on March 8, 2014, with 239 people onboard. The aircraft departed Kuala Lumpur airport bound for Beijing but disappeared without a trace shortly after takeoff.
