Michaella McCollum could be in line to make a fortune after her odds on participating in Celebrity Big Brother have been drastically cut.
The 23-yr-old reportedly quickly learned Spanish within one year so as to know how to communicate with fellow inmates in what is described as “an absolute hell hole prison in Peru”.
The Tyrone woman received mixed reviews for an interview she took part in shown on RTE this week.
McCollum was convicted of trying to smuggle almost €2 million of cocaine from Peru to Spain and served more than two years in various South American jails.
Now her ex-boyfriend says the Irishwoman deserves some good luck and he has backed her to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
Various bookies have given the newly blonde woman odds on favourite to take part in the hit TV Show.
DJ Brad Houston posted about Michaella on his Facebook page below:
He said: “Hope she gets it, the girl deserves some good luck.”
One of his friends on the social media platform wasn’t convinced saying “Not a chance” but Brad replied: “I’d have to watch it.
“The stories would be insane.”
