The multiple cold spells of recent weeks seem to be gone for now, as milder temperatures are expected over the weekend.
There won’t be much in the way of sunshine however, but there will be rain and wind aplenty.
Spells of rain will develop throughout the day today, becoming widespread towards evening.
Saturday morning and early afternoon will likely see the best weather of the lot, as heavy rain will spread nationwide later in the day.
Sunday is likely to be a very damp day, with temperatures reaching 12-13C in places.
